Complete an Application
There are 3 easy ways to launch an application. You can send an application link via email or SMS or you can launch an application on the device that you are accessing the merchant portal from. These are the steps to complete the application:
Step 1:The applicant will complete the CONTACT, HOME ADDRESS, AND INCOME & SSN sections of the application.
If pre-qualified, payment options will be presented. The applicant will click on CHOOSE to select which payment option they prefer.
If your contract allows for Same as Cash options, you can provide an OFFICE CODE for the applicant to enter to view their Same as Cash option.
The applicant will be prompted to set up their payment. They can enroll in AUTO-PAY WITH DEBIT or they can select OTHER. LendingPoint encourages applicants to enroll in Auto-pay to ensure that they do not miss a payment.
If the applicant selects AUTO-PAY WITH DEBIT, they will be asked to enter their debit card number, expiration date, and CVV. The CVV is the Card Verification Value. The CVV can be found on the back of the debit card. The CVV is the 3-digit value to the right of the account number and can usually be found on the signature block.
If the applicant selects OTHER, they will be responsible for arranging for their payments. Please remind them that their financing will be serviced by LendingPoint. LendingPoint will send them emails, text messages, and a welcome letter by mail after the financing is funded. Please let the applicant know that if they do not receive any communications from LendingPoint within a week after the financing is funded that they should contact LendingPoint at 844-789-0195 to ensure that their contact information on file is correct.
The applicant will confirm their financing details before signing the contract.
The applicant must sign the contract electronically. Please do not print out the contract for the applicant to sign.
